09.03.2009: Vote: In case when a laser tag pack is accidentally broken by a player, what solution would you suggest? Results:
A - The player must pay a penalty and may refund all the the repairing expenses! (8,57%)
B - The player must refund the appropriate repairing expenses only; no penalty should apply! (15,71%)
C - Such case should go to the court (2,86%)
D - The repairing expenses should be borne both by the player and the operator (in proportion 50/50) (22,86%)

LASERMAXX COMES TO UKRAINE
Today they have opened a new laser tag arena at Terminal FEC in Brovary, the suburb of Kiev (Ukraine). This site is equipped with LaserMaxx Evolution 3 system. The size of the new arena (1200 sq.m) allows simultaneous playing of 32 players. This arena is the first LaserMaxx arena opened in the CIS countries, and the third laser tag site in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. |

UK ARMAGEDDON - 2006
This year they are introducing the famous American multi-system Laser Tag Tournament in the United Kingdom. The UK Armageddon is modeled on the method used in the USA (that has proved so successful) and is the first multi-system tournament to ever be held in Europe. UK Armageddon-2006 runs from 11th August 2006 until 13th August 2006. The systems and centres covered are as follows: Quasar Elite - Acock Green, Birmingham; DarkLight (v5) - Gloucester; MegaZone (T2 Infusion) - Northampton; LaserForce (Gen6) - Peterborough; Q2000 - Derby; LaserQuest (LQX) - Stourbridge. THE 50TH LASER TAG ARENA HAS BEEN OPENED IN EX-USSR
This summer the total quantity of Laser Tag arenas opened in CIS and Baltic countries became 50. Yet, 50 Laser Tag sites for such a big territory is still rather insufficient, when comparing to the year 2004 it is possible to say that the arenas' quantity is really rocketing here. As can be seen at diagram Different types of Laser Tag equipment (see Statistics section of our web page, below), Russian Ataka system became the most common Laser Tag type in the ex-USSR. Besides, this year three new DarkLight arenas and the first LaserTron site in Europe were opened here. So, we can see a certain progress in introducing of Laser Tag idea in many of the ex-Soviet countries. ARMAGEDDON-2006: AN ULTIMATE LASER TAG TOURNAMENT
8 teams of laser tag players from around the world participated in the 7th annual Armageddon Multi-System Laser Tag Tournament over July 4th weekend. The popular tournament was hosted in the Baltimore-Washington area, with stops in Northern Virginia. The tournament is a unique laser tag experience. LASERTRON ARENA IS OPENED IN ST.-PETERSBURG
New laser tag arena was opened in St.-Petersburg (Russia) today. Equipped with LT-10 system, this site is the first one in Europe to use American LaserTron laser tag. NEW LASER BLAST ARENA IS OPENED IN KIEV, UKRAINE
Recently they have opened a new laser tag arena in Kiev equipped with Laser Blast system. Installed in new FEC DyvoSvit, this Laser Blast site is the first one located in the ex-USSR. Besides MegaZone, it is the second laser tag arena in Kiev, as well. Besides laser tag site, they may open a unique attraction Dyno-Safari, that applies Laser Blast tecnologies to animatronic scale models of dinosaurs, in the nearest time. MEGAZONE SITE IS OPENED IN KRASNODAR, RUSSIA
We have been informed that they have opened a new Laser Tag arena in Krasnodar (Russia). The new site is equipped with 12-guns MegaZone system imported from the UK. This site is the second Laser Tag arena installed in Krasnodar (the first one uses Q-Zar equipment) and is the second ex-Soviet arena that uses Zone equipment (another one is located in Kiev, Ukraine and is one of the oldest Laser Tag sites here in the ex-USSR). |

RUSSIAN OUTDOOR LASER TAG MANUFACTURER IS PLANNING TO OPEN 4 NEW SITES
Russian company Adva Systems (manufacturer of oudoor Laser Tag equipment of Adva Combat Reality trade mark) announces their plans to open 4 new outdoor sites in Russia and Moldova. Three of the the new sites will be equipped with the Laser Tag systems based on Kalashnikov sub-machine gun imitations, one will be styled to be used by kids (the equipment will be designed in resemblance with the guns used in The 5th Element movie). Looks like outdoor Laser Tags are getting popular here in Russia, too... |

NEW Q-ZAR SITE IS OPENED IN MINSK, BELARUS
New Q-Zar arena was opened in Minsk recently. At present time, this arena is the only Laser Tag site on the territory of Belarus (the former Soviet Republic) - in the past, they used to have another Q-Zar in Minsk and LaserForce arena in Brest, but both arenas were closed some years ago. So, the new arena will be much appreciated by both new players and by those who used to go for Laser Tag in the past. Besides, the arena operator - East European Company (well-known as a distributor of Q-Zar and Laser Blast equipment) is planning to add to the maze some "special animatronic effects"... So far - so good, and our best wishes to the new arena's staff and players! |

NEW OUTDOOR LASERTAG SITE OPENS IN SEBASTOPOL, UKRAINE
It is just being announced that a new outdoor lasertag club - Alpha-Extreme - has been established in Sebastopol, Ukraine (Crimea). They use Ukrainian oudoor tag system named Action Ukraine Lasertag there. Quantity of players may be up to 8, the number of game modes - 7, number of different game ranges - 3. February, 2013: - 25th Anniversary of the World's Longest Running Laser Tag Site - Laserforce Brisbane - was celebrated in Australia.
When Laserforce was first established by the Kelly brothers in 1988, many believed it was little more than a passing fad. WILL LASER TAG GO A BOXING-LIKE SPORTIVE EVENT?
October, 2012: - LSUFC - Lasersport Ultimate Fighter Championship - is seen as a "1 vs 1" laser tag duelling, a unique lasertag tournament that can parallel a boxing or MMA event.
The produced during the tournament video may contain a polished event feel much like a modern televised MMA/Boxing match. Match ups can be edited as a lead in to the event, statistics may be displayed, a referee will announce the fighters, intro music will be played, winners will be announced, etc.

LASERMAXX PRESENTS VIRTUAL LASER TAG SIMULATOR
November, 2011: - Dutch laser tag manufacturer - LaserMaxx - presents an on-line laser tag game simulator. The game is done in a very realistic manner and virtually simulates their EVO-5 version of the equipment. The virtual player has an option to chose one of 5 different arenas (at present time; looks like more layouts will be added soon) and and may fight against his/her virtual opponents. Also, the players will be able to create their own arena layouts of different types. The game simulates laser tag game VERY precisely, with all the obstacles, traps, lights, fog you can find at a real arena. The official release is expected in the nearest time.

POLIGON 64 PRESENTS WIRELESS VERSION OF THE EQUIPMENT
September, 2011: - Russian laser tag manufacturer - Poligon 64 - developed and starts marketing of the wireless version of their outdoor equipment. Among the other features of the new version are: realistic sounds, use of two phasers simultaneously (the primary and auxiliary weapons), wireless 'phaser-sensor' connection, etc.

LASER TAG MUSEUM
July, 2011: - The opened in 2005 to general public non-commercial Laser Tag Museum in Louisville (USA) has accumulated many materials of the history of the world laser tag industry – from the very dawn of laser tag era and till the present time.
Yet, to make the full-scale presentation of the industry, even more materials are needed - especially the laser tag products that are predominantly in Europe and Asia: samples of the old laser tag equipment (such as Reflex, Pulsar, early Laser Quest, Q-Zar ver.1-4, etc.), cool laser tag t-shirts, membership cards, unique posters, old manuals, flyers, brochures, informational video tapes, pins, patches, bumper stickers and other related items.
