09.03.2009: Vote: In case when a laser tag pack is accidentally broken by a player, what solution would you suggest?

Results:
A - The player must pay a penalty and may refund all the the repairing expenses! (8,57%)
B - The player must refund the appropriate repairing expenses only; no penalty should apply! (15,71%)
C - Such case should go to the court (2,86%)
D - The repairing expenses should be borne both by the player and the operator (in proportion 50/50) (22,86%)
E - The repairing expenses should be covered by the insurance company (25,71%)

08.03.2011: LASER TAG ITALIA (LTI) IS NOW OFFICIALLY CATALOGUED BY TRUTNEE AS A COMMERCIAL OUTDOOR LASER TAG MANUFACTURER
Laser Tag Italia by IR Entertainment (Milan, Italy) just started marketing their new outdoor laser tag system - LTI. Markston Sport, a new outdoor laser tag system by Zone, was for the first time presented at IAAPA (Orlando, USA) in November, 2010 and it is estimated that Zone will start marketing before June, 2011. The new equipment introduces its amazing new Field Navigation Pack, utilising GPS and digital compass to indicate the position of field accessories and teammates; weapons feature a new Optical Dispersion System and sunblock filters for enhanced range and angle of operation in bright daylight. A light-weight yet rugged, diecast exoskeleton with moulded fibreglass-impregnated trim and sealed electronic module, the gun weighs in at only 1.3kg. 07.03.2011: ANALYTICS: INDEX OF LASER TAG INDUSTRY (EUROPE) IS UPDATED
According to the updated Index of Laser Tag industry, the strongest national laser tag markets in Europe may be observed in Cyprus, Estonia, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom (subgroup A+) followed by Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Russia and Ukraine (subgroup A-); no national laser tag industry (group D) is still observed in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro, Slovenia. The most dynamic positive tendency may be observed in Belgium (+6.55), the Netherlands (+7.11), Ireland (+5.00), Kazakhstan (+2.60), Portugal (+4.80), Poland (+3.05), Russia (+5.25), Romania (+4.95) and Ukraine (+3.86). Negative tendency is observed in France (-0.35), Finland (-0.93) and Czech Republic (-0.49). From the point of view of an operator, probably the most attractive markets to start laser tag business are these of Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Kazakhstan, Poland and Switzerland (group B - optimal), where the industry's strength is already mature, yet the competition level is still moderate.

Laser Tag index is an analytical and statistical survey made by TRUTNEE.COM with the aim of figuring out the current situation at European laser tag market. 20.02.2011: EAAPA-2011 IN MOSCOW, RUSSIA - A BRIEF REVIEW
Thousands of professionals of entertainment and fun industry visited the Fourth Eurasian Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo - EAAPA-2011 in Moscow (Russia) to see more than 100 exhibitors. This year at EAAPA the laser tag industry was presented by five companies, that were exhibiting: Ikon-X outdoor laser tag system, Rift and Begeara equipments, LaserWar and Poligon 64 outdoor laser tag systems. Australian outdoor laser tag manufacturer - BattleField Sports and their new indoor division - Timescape, announce launching a new light phaser - Cobra. The new phaser is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and incorporates the very latest in industrial design and precision engineering. The Cobra's case is made from heavy duty polycarbonate resin which is on average 4mm thick. Adventure Sports HQ Laser Tag, an American manufacturer, announces that it has obtained the CE marking (i.e., European Conformity) for all of its outdoor and indoor laser tag equipment. Copies of their CE certification are available on client request. In addition, they will place the CE mark on all newly manufactured equipment of Adventure Sports brand. CE Marking on a product is a manufacturer's declaration that the product complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislations; also CE Marking on a product indicates to governmental officials that the product may be legally placed on the market in their country. 27.11.2010: LASERMAXX LASERGAMES START MARKETING THEIR NEW OUTDOOR LASER TAG SYSTEM
It is expected that LaserTrooper, the new outdoor laser tag system by LaserMaxx LaserGames (the Netherlands) and successor to their previous outdoor version - Outsider, will be officially launched before the end of this year. As our sources inform, the new equipment successfully passed all the range tests and is absolutely ready to be marketed. They also inform that LaserTrooper phasor can accurately shoot at the distances of up to 125 m in daylight and 'is very sophisticated and styled'. 22.11.2010: AN AVATAR-STYLED LASER TAG MAZE THEMING IS ANNOUNCED BY CREATIVE WORKS
Creative Works / Theme Factory, world's recognized specialists in laser tag maze theming, recently announced a new theme to their portfolio called Earth Quest that builds upon the Avatar movie. New indoor laser tag site is just opened @ Zawey Aldahmany in the capitol of Libya - Tripoli. Equipped with 150 sq.m maze and Canadian Lazer Runner laser tag system, this new site is probably the first one to be opened in Libya and one of the several other laser tag facilities acting in Africa. As it is reported by LaserMaxx Lasergames (MultiMax Electronics B.V., the Netherlands, since 1995), they have 100 sites open today (99 of them operating in Europe and 1 - in Tahiti), with the newest one located in Zaragoza, Spain. There are several types of laser tag and lasertag-based equipment by LaserMaxx currently being operated in the market, including a special version intended for use at the territory of Germany - LaserMission (actually, for the unknown reason the other types of indoor laser tag equipment are not permitted there) and special version for kids, LaserFun. 31.08.2010: PENTATHLON SWITCHES TO LASER GUNS FOR LONDON 2012 OLYMPIC GAMES
Laser guns will replace traditional air pistols in the modern pentathlon at the 2012 London Olympics after a successful trial at the inaugural Youth Olympics. Klaus Schormann, president of world governing body the International Modern Pentathlon Union (IUPM), stated: "We will have laser shooting for London. WILL LASER TAG GO A BOXING-LIKE SPORTIVE EVENT?

October, 2012: - LSUFC - Lasersport Ultimate Fighter Championship - is seen as a "1 vs 1" laser tag duelling, a unique lasertag tournament that can parallel a boxing or MMA event.

The produced during the tournament video may contain a polished event feel much like a modern televised MMA/Boxing match. Match ups can be edited as a lead in to the event, statistics may be displayed, a referee will announce the fighters, intro music will be played, winners will be announced, etc.

LASERMAXX PRESENTS VIRTUAL LASER TAG SIMULATOR

November, 2011: - Dutch laser tag manufacturer - LaserMaxx - presents an on-line laser tag game simulator. The game is done in a very realistic manner and virtually simulates their EVO-5 version of the equipment. The virtual player has an option to chose one of 5 different arenas (at present time; looks like more layouts will be added soon) and and may fight against his/her virtual opponents. Also, the players will be able to create their own arena layouts of different types. The game simulates laser tag game VERY precisely, with all the obstacles, traps, lights, fog you can find at a real arena. The official release is expected in the nearest time.

POLIGON 64 PRESENTS WIRELESS VERSION OF THE EQUIPMENT

September, 2011: - Russian laser tag manufacturer - Poligon 64 - developed and starts marketing of the wireless version of their outdoor equipment. Among the other features of the new version are: realistic sounds, use of two phasers simultaneously (the primary and auxiliary weapons), wireless 'phaser-sensor' connection, etc.

LASER TAG MUSEUM

July, 2011: - The opened in 2005 to general public non-commercial Laser Tag Museum in Louisville (USA) has accumulated many materials of the history of the world laser tag industry – from the very dawn of laser tag era and till the present time.

Yet, to make the full-scale presentation of the industry, even more materials are needed - especially the laser tag products that are predominantly in Europe and Asia: samples of the old laser tag equipment (such as Reflex, Pulsar, early Laser Quest, Q-Zar ver.1-4, etc.), cool laser tag t-shirts, membership cards, unique posters, old manuals, flyers, brochures, informational video tapes, pins, patches, bumper stickers and other related items.
